Not that it's a surprise, especially with the ratings-weak field of the MLB playoffs in 2010, featuring either non-traditional matchups (Philly-Cincy) or series with weak markets (Tampa-Texas) or games that'll go past midnight (Atlanta-San Fran), but TBS announced yesterday that New York-Minnesota will be its sort of de facto top series for round one. It also makes sense, as TBS is airing the 2010 American League Championship Series.
↵Ernie Johnson (play-by-play), John Smoltz and New York Mets analyst Ron Darling (analysts) will call the games with Craig Sager (reporter). They will also be TBS' ALCS broadcast team. Here are the games and times for all four series, starting with Yankees-Twins, who'll start out on Wednesday at 8:37 p.m. ET.
