2012 MLS All-Star Game: Thierry Henry, Heath Pearce Selected For MLS All-Star First XI

The New York Red Bulls landed two players in the 2012 MLS All-Star First XI. During halftime of the ESPN MLS Game of the Week between the LA Galaxy and the Chicago Fire on Sunday, the results of the fan vote for the MLS All-Star starters were revealed.

Red Bulls striker Thierry Henry and defender Heath Pearce were selected to the First XI to play against English Premier League power Chelsea in the 2012 MLS All-Star Game on July 25 at PPL Park. This will be Henry's second All-Star appearance after previously making the squad last season. Pearce will be making his third All-Star appearance.

Goalkeeper: Jimmy Nielsen (Sporting Kansas City)

Defenders: Steven Beitashour (San Jose Earthquakes), Aurélien Collin (Sporting Kansas City), Jay DeMerit (Vancouver Whitecaps FC), Heath Pearce (New York Red Bulls)

Midfielders: David Beckham (LA Galaxy), Dwayne De Rosario (D.C. United), Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)

Forwards: Thierry Henry (New York Red Bulls), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes)
