The New York Red Bulls will look to snap a two-match winless streak Sunday on national television, as they host the Seattle Sounders FC at Red Bulls Stadium (4 p.m. ET on ESPN). The Red Bulls (9-5-4) will try and earn two points with a new-look lineup that could feature a brand-new goaltender, Bill Gaudette, and newly acquired forward Sébastien Le Toux.
On Friday, both Le Toux and Guadette were acquired via trade. Le Toux came from the Vancouver Whitecaps, while Guadette was brought in from the LA Galaxy. Le Toux is expected to be available for selection and Guadette may get his first start because of an injury to Red Bulls' starting goaltender Ryan Meara, who's questionable.
Despite getting off to its best 18-game start to a season, the Red Bulls are trying to break out of a mid-season funk, while Seattle is coming off a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids. The victory snapped a nine-game losing streak for the Sounders.
