Red Bulls Vs. Fire Final Score: New York Falls, 3-1, Without Thierry Henry, Rafa Marquez

The New York Red Bulls lost to the Chicago Fire, 3-1, on Sunday at Chicago's Toyota Park.

Chicago scored just four minutes into the match on a header by Patrick Nyarko. Sebastian Grazzini sent a cross into the penalty area that Nyarko got to with his head while colliding with a New York defender and pushed it past Red Bulls keeper Ryan Meara. The Red Bulls would get the goal back in the 55th minute when Mehdi Ballouchy headed the ball to Dax McCarty who finished on net with a header that beat Chicago keeper Sean Johnson.

Chicago would need to score twice to pick up their second goal. Dominic Oduro beat Meara in the 64th minute with a shot Meara couldn't get all of and even though the whole ball crossed the line before a Red Bulls defender cleared it, Chicago was not awarded a goal. The Fire scored their second goal officially when Gonzalo Segares pounced on a rebound in the 68th minute. Chicago added another goal when a cross from Nyarko found a completely unmarked Chris Rolfe in the 81st minute. Rolfe sidefooted the ball into the empty net to put the match out of reach.

The Red Bulls did not have Thierry Henry and Rafael Marquez due to injury. New York (8-4-2) will play its next match against the Vancouver Whitecaps (7-3-4) at BC Place on Wednesday, June 20.
