Red Bulls Vs. Chicago Fire Preview: Match Time, TV Schedule

The New York Red Bulls -- finally -- return to MLS action on Sunday when they travel to Toyota Park to face the Chicago Fire at 5 p.m. ET (TV: NBC Sports Network; Radio: WLIB 1190 AM). The last MLS match for the Red Bulls (8-3-2, 26 points), who are second in the Eastern Conference, was a 1-1 draw with Chivas USA on May 23.

The Red bulls trail only D.C. United (28 points) in the Eastern Conference. The Fire enters the match in a tie for fourth place in the East on 18 points with a 5-5-3 record.

"It was really good for us to get the break," said defender Markus Holgersson. "We can look back and see what we did well and what we have to be better at."

"If we keep doing the things we did before this little break we'll be all right," said goalkeeper Ryan Meara, a Fordham graduate.
