Joel Lindpere (17th minute) and Markus Holgersson (68th minute) also scored for New York, which earned its fourth consecutive victory and is now tied with Kansas City FC for first place in the Eastern Conferenceat 21 points. Philadelphia had multiple chances to tie the game late, but couldn't get the ball to cross the goal line.
