Thierry Henry Injury: Red Bulls Forward Leaves Game With Hamstring Injury

Thierry Henry scored his ninth goal of the season on Saturday, but left the match with a strained right hamstring. Here's the tweet from the Red Bulls official Twitter account:

ESPN New York has more:

Henry ... was streaking toward the goal in the 22nd minute, when tried to stop quickly.

Henry then reached for his hamstring and slid along the turf. He remained on the turf for several minutes, holding his face and punching the turf in pain.

He was carried off the field after suffering the injury.

Henry has nine goals in eight games this season, along with five assists and 32 shots on goal. If he has to miss time, it will be a big loss for the Red Bulls.
