Red Bulls Striker Thierry Henry Scored Game-Winner In Return To Arsenal

New York Red Bulls striker Thierry Henry did not disappoint in his return to his old side Arsenal today. Henry was subbed on in the second half at the 68th minute with Theo Walcott for the Gunners. Just 10 minutes later, Henry scored the game-winning goal.

After losing his marker, Henry collected the ball behind the defense and hit it with a sidefooted strike into the side netting (see the goal here, via ESPN UK).

The goal extended Henry's club record to 227. Henry is on a two-month loan to Arsenal. The Gunners moved on to the fourth round of the FA Cup on the strength of Henry's marker. They will face Aston Villa, who are reportedly trying to finalize a loan for LA Galaxy's Robbie Keane.
