The U.S. Men's National Team begins their first 2012 camp on Jan. 3. Head coach Juergen Klinsmann has called up New York Red Bulls striker Juan Agudelo but left defender Tim Ream off his list (via MLS Soccer.com). There are a total of 18 MLS players on the list of invitees.
After camp begins on Jan. 3 in Phoenix, AZ, the team will travel to Los Angeles, CA, from Jan. 13-20. The team returns to Arizona to host Venezuela in a friendly on Jan. 21 and finishes the month with a trip to Panama for a friendly against the Panamanian side on Jan. 25.
Augdelo recently finished a training stint with English Premier League side Liverpool. Agudelo has been capped for the national team 15 times and scored twice. Last season with the Red Bulls, Agudelo scored six times.
Tim Ream has made 7 appearances for the national team including two caps during the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Ream struggled on the backline during Panama's shocking 2-1 win over the USA in a Group C match.
