Mets Vs. Nationals Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers

The New York Mets will try to even their series against the division-leading Nationals Tuesday night with R.A. Dickey on the mound. Dickey will be going for his 19th win of the season, which would match Washington's Gio Gonzalez, who moved ahead of the Mets knuckleballer when he shut down New York in the series opener on Monday.

Gonzalez gave up just three hits in six innings, and the Nationals pounded four homers en route to the 5-1 win.

Dickey will try to get the series back to even with his fourth straight win. He has not allowed more than two runs in his last four starts as his incredible season has continued through the dog days and down the stretch. Against the Nationals, the knuckleballer has a 3.05 ERA this season in three starts. Dickey will be opposed by Jordan Zimmermann, who's posted a 1.50 ERA against the Mets this season.

Schedule and broadcast information for Game 2:

TV: SNY
