Mets At Diamondbacks Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers

The New York Mets (48-52) have split the first two games of their four-game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks with a 3-1 win in Game 1 and an 11-5 loss in Game 2. The third game of the series will be Saturday night.

Chris Young (2-4 3.91 ERA) will be on the mound for New York, facing Ian Kennedy (8-8 4.20 ERA) for Arizona. Young has an unimpressive record and hasn’t had a win in five starts, but he has given up only two runs in each of his last two starts while recieving only three total runs in support. The Mets will have to do better than that against Kennedy, who was 11-2 with a 2.64 ERA while visiting New York in 2011. They’ll look to Ike Davis, Andres Torres and David Wright, all of whom had RBI in Friday’s loss.
