Mets At Diamondbacks Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers

The New York Mets are looking to win their second straight game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night, and if the Mets win it also would be their first back-to-back wins in a month. The Mets are sending Jon Niese to the mound against the Diamondbacks. He is 7-4 on the year with an ERA of 3.59, and this will be his first match up against the Diamondbacks this year. During his last three starts Niese is 0-1 with an ERA at 4.71, but prior to that stretch he won three straight starts.

Josh Collmenter is getting the start for the Diamondbacks and he has bounced around from being a starter and reliever this year. This season he is 2-2 on the year with a 3.82 ERA in 66 innings pitched, and he faced the Mets in relief back on May 5. In that game he went three innings allowed three hits, struck out three and allowed no runs.

First pitch is at 9:40 p.m. ET and can be seen on SNY or on the radio at WFAN 660.
