On Day 1 of the 2012 MLB Draft Travis Jankowski became the highest-drafted player ever in the history of the Stony Brook baseball program when he was taken 44th overall by the San Diego Padres. Tuesday, Jankowski was joined by several of his teammates.
Rounds 2-15 of the draft were held Tuesday and several of Jankowski’s Seawolves teammates were selected. A list of regional players drafted on Tuesday is below. The draft concludes Wednesday with rounds 16-40.
