2012 MLB Mock Draft: Mets Select Max Fried; Yankees Select Duane Underwood

The first round of the 2012 MLB Draft is scheduled for Monday, June 4, in which the New York Mets own the 12th selection, and the New York Yankees own the 30th. ESPN's draft expert, Keith Law, recently posted the third edition of his first-round mock. Here's what he had to say about the Mets and Yankees picks:

Mets

Max Fried, LHP, Harvard-Westlake H.S. (Studio City, Calif.)
They're also on to Cecchini, Dahl, North Carolina prep third baseman Corey Seager and Texas A&M righty Michael Wacha. Giolito is a dark horse here. This is probably Zunino's floor, and it's definitely Fried's floor.

Yankees

Duane Underwood, RHP, Pope H.S. (Marietta, Ga.)
They're still primarily on prep arms, including Puerto Rico's Jose Berrios and Washington's Mitch Gueller, although it's possible they'd take a major bat if one fell and would sign.
