2012 MLB Draft Preview: Mets Pick 12th, Yankees Pick 30th

The 2012 MLB Draft will be held June 4-6. The New York Mets will pick 12th in the first round, while the New York Yankees will pick 30th. [Complete Draft Order, First Four Rounds]

The Mets will have four selections among the first 75 picks in the draft, and five selections among the first 107. They will pick 12th, 35th (compensation for Miami signing Jose Reyes), 71st (also compensation for Reyes), 75th and 107th.

The Yankees will have the 30th selection in the first round, second-round picks that are 89th and 94th overall and a fourth-round pick that will be 124th overall.
