Mets Vs. Blue Jays: Brandon Morrow Shuts Out Mets, 2-0

The New York Mets dropped their second consecutive game to the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, with the third and final game of the team's interleague series scheduled for Sunday.

Brandon Morrow of the Blue Jays pitched an absolute gem on Saturday, going the distance, while fanning eight and holding the Mets without a run. Only four batters reached base against Morrow – three hits and one walk.

The Mets starter, Miguel Batista, left the game after two innings with a sore back. Recently called-up Jeremy Hefner relieved Batista in the third, and allowed two runs in five innings.

Sunday's game is scheduled for 1:07 EST.
