The New York Mets announced a pair of roster moves Saturday morning in the hours before the second leg of a three-game interleague series with the Toronto Blue Jays.
The #Mets officially recall RHP Jeremy Hefner from Buffalo (AAA) and option Jordany Valdespin to Buffalo. Hefner will wear #53.

Valdespin was batting .100 to go along with one home run and three RBI after 20 at-bats with the Mets. Hefner has pitched three scoreless innings with the Mets this season. The right-hander has made seven starts for Triple-A Buffalo, amassing a 3-2 record with a 2.72 ERA in 46.1 innings.
