New York Mets (13-10) At Houston Astros (9-14): Preview, Game Time, TV, Probable Pitchers

The New York Mets look to bounce back from a series-opening loss to the Houston Astros when the two teams resume their three-game set Tuesday night. (Game Time: 8:05 p.m. ET, TV Schedule: SNY)

Jordan Schafer scored on a Jed Lowrie single during the eighth inning as the Astros claimed a 4-3 win Monday. Manny Acosta earned the loss in relief for the Mets. R.A. Dickey took a no-hit bid into the sixth inning but served up three runs in the sixth frame, including a two-run homer by Matt Down, and received a no-decision.

Jonathon Niese takes the hill for the Mets and the Astros will counter with J.A. Happ.
