According to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York, Jason Bay was scratched from the Mets lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.
Bay officially scratched. Jammed right index finger. Did it sliding in 2nd inning.

Rubin went on to tweet that Bay's injury occured on his ring finger, rather than his index finger. He also tweeted that X-rays were negative.
The 33 year old outfielder is batting .185 on the season, with one home run and three runs batted in. Bay has been a massive disappointment in New York. He signed as a free agent in 2010 and in two years he's been limited by injuries and hit only 19 home runs in a Mets uni. He hit 185 home runs prior to joining the Mets.
