Dwight Howard Trade Rumors 2012: Cavaliers Complicate Deal By Dropping Out -- Report

Dwight Howard trade talks between the Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic hit a snag on Tuesday, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Wojnarowski reports that the Cleveland Cavaliers have dropped out as a potential trading partner to help facilitate a deal sending Howard to Brooklyn, and that the Magic and Nets might need to make a two-team trade if they wish to reach a deal in the near-term. That could spell trouble for the Nets, whose offer for Howard is expected to need at least one more team as a facilitator.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Charlotte Bobcats have also been rumored as potential candidates to become third-parties used to help the deal, but it's unclear whether either of those teams still have interest.

ESPN's Marc Stein reported earlier Tuesday that NBA general managers are becoming hesitant about helping Howard land in Brooklyn because they don't want to help the Nets become a "super team."
