2012 NBA Draft: Syracuse's Dion Waiters Gets Green Room Invite For NBA Draft

Former Syracuse University guard Dion Waiters has reportedly been invited to the Green Room on draft night for the upcoming 2012 NBA Draft on Thursday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey (Draft Express' Twitter).

Waiters was one of 13 players getting a Green Room invite from the NBA. Here are the other invitees:

Anthony Davis, Thomas Robinson, Bradley Beal, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Harrison Barnes, Damian Lillard, Jeremy Lamb, Andre Drummond, Austin Rivers, John Henson, Tyler Zeller, Meyers Leonard.

Waiters getting an invite to the Green Room is a good sign that he could be a Top 15 pick in this year's draft. Waiters stopped his pre-draft workouts early this month which led to speculation that a team had made him a promise. The Raptors with the No. 8 selection have denied that they were the team to make the promise. Waiters has been projected to the Warriors (No. 7), Trail Blazers (No. 11) and Suns (No. 13) in recent mock drafts.
