2012 NBA Draft: Moe Harkless Works Out For Sacramento Kings

Moe Harkless is considered a lottery pick by quite a few experts. However, not too many people have him going in the top five picks of Thursday's 2012 NBA Draft.

The Sacramento Kings are picking fifth overall and had Harkless in for a workout according to Tom Ziller of SB Nation's Sactown Royalty.

Harkless only spent one year at St. John's before deciding it was time to go pro. It's tough to blame him, considering the type of year he had. Head coach Steve Lavin missed most of the year battling cancer and almost his entire supporting cast consisted of freshmen.

The youngster is a rare blend of power and athletic ability. Harkless isn't much of a three-point shooter (he shot 21 percent in college), but at 6-foot-9 he can shoot from a good distance and attack the paint with fury.

There has been speculation the Kings want to move down in the draft and stockpile picks. If that's the case, Harkless could be moving across the country in short order to join forces with Tyreke Evans.
