2012 NBA Playoffs, Heat Vs. Knicks Game 5: New York Trails 55-44 At The Half

The New York Knicks need a win to keep their season alive. Now, they need a big second half in Game 5 against the Miami Heat in order to force a Game 6. The Knicks trail by a score of 55-44 at the half.

New York had the score within three points with just over two minutes to play. Miami answered with a 10-1 run that started at the 2:18 mark with a Mario Chalmers three-point shot.

The Knicks are shooting a very respectable 51 percent from the field. Carmelo Anthony leads the team with 15 points. Mike Bibby has eight points, including a two-for-three performance from outside the arc.

LeBron James leads the Heat with 13 points, seven of which are free throws. Dwayne Wade has 12 points. Miami has a decided advantage at the boards with 23 rebounds to the Knicks' 14.
