New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has reportedly been added to the USA Select Team, a group of players hand-picked to scrimmage against Team USA in the weeks leading up to the 2012 London Olympics.
According to Matt Steinmetz of CSN Bay Area, Lin is one 13 players chosen for the Select Team. The entire unofficial roster follows, per Steinmetz:
DeMarcus Cousins, Sacramento Kings
Jeremy Lin, New York Knicks
Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors
Kyrie Irving, Cleveland Cavaliers
John Wall, Washington Wizards
DeMar DeRozan, Toronto Raptors
Paul George, Indiana Pacers
Gordon Hayward, Utah Jazz
Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio Spurs
DeJuan Blair, San Antonio Spurs
Ryan Anderson, Orlando Magic
Taj Gibson, Chicago Bulls
Derrick Favors, Utah Jazz
Lin averaged 14.6 points and 6.2 assists for the Knicks this season in a breakout year. He missed the final month of the regular season and all of New York's five playoff games due to a torn meniscus.
