2012 NBA Playoffs Game 2, Knicks Vs. Heat Halftime Score: Miami Leads 53-47 At Intermission

The New York Knicks are down 53-47 in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference series against the Miami Heat. Being down only six points is a major improvement over Saturday night when New York went into the locker room down 13 points.

Carmelo Anthony has done everything he can to keep the Knicks competitive. Through 24 minutes he already has 21 points on 9-for-18 shooting. He has made himself known around the rim with a couple of board-rattling dunks including this early-game slam.

Unfortunately, not one of his teammates has more than six points so far. Meanwhile, the Heat are shooting 55.6 percent from the floor as a team. A 22-15 advantage on the boards for New York has helped keep the game within striking distance, but the Knicks will need another scorer to step up in the second half if they hope to pull out the win.
