New York Knicks guard, Iman Shumpert, had to be carried off the court midway through the third quarter after suffering a knee injury on a crossover attempt in the open court. He was dribbling up the floor, attempted a behind-the-back cross over on Heat guard, Mario Chalmers, and immediately grabbed his knee as he fell to the ground.
The rookie from Georgia Tech was the Knicks first round pick in 2011 – number 17 overall. He started 35 games for the Knicks this season, at both guard spots. He averaged just under 10 points per game, along with 3.5 assists and 3.9 rebounds. He's an extremely inefficient scorer, but is known for his defense and athleticism.
