New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith has add another page to his celebrity profile. The flashy bench player scored a feature role in a new music video by Grammy award-winning reggae artist Sean Paul and R&B singer Kelly Rowland.

The video, called "How Deep Is Your Love," features Smith playing the role of a man who shows his love to his significant other in different scenes of the video. According to the video, Smith likes to buy stuff for his girlfriend and take her to expensive dinners -- apparently, that's how you're suppose to show deep love.

According to a report by ESPNNewYork.com's Jared Zwerling, Smith said he didn't even need to addition for the role.

"They just came to me and asked me to do it," he told ESPNNewYork.com on Saturday. "From listening to the song, they just said I was the perfect person to play it."

Smith's scenes were filmed in a one-day, six-hour shoot in NYC, while Paul's and Rowland's scenes were filmed in Los Angeles. Smith admitted he'd like to act more but is not planning to jump into it anytime soon.
