Injured New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony had been trying to focus on his return to the court. In his time off, he had heard the rumors that Knicks head coach Mike D'Antoni could be finished in New York. Anthony says that the players support D'Antoni.
"Any time teams are losing, that's the first thing that comes to mind is the coach, but we don't talk about that," Anthony said Monday in Greenburgh. "We support Mike 100 percent. He's here with us, we're here with him. We're going to roll with that." (via New York Daily News)
Anthony also said he was trying to rush back to help the struggling Knicks.
"If we were winning, I'd try to take my time," Anthony said. "Right now, I want to try and push it and see what we can do."
As it turns out, Anthony will be playing in tonight's game
