Behind 28 points from Kevin Durant and 24 from James Harden Saturday night the Oklahoma City Thunder routed the New York Knicks, 104-92, in a inter-conference contest at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, OK Saturday night. Point guard Russell Westbrook tallied 21 points, eight rebounds and eight for the Thunder, while the Carmelo Anthony-less Knicks trailed by as many as 30 points.
Amare Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler and Toney Douglas all scored a team-best 14 points for the Knicks, who trailed by 30 near the end of the third quarter before the Thunder began to pull their starters, who didn't play a single minute in the the fourth quarter. Chandler added a team-best seven rebounds.
New York is back in action Monday when the Knicks host the Orlando Magic in an Eastern Conference match up. The contest begins a string of four straight homes games for the Knicks.
