The New York Yankees open the Major League Baseball season today at Yankee Stadium against the Detroit Tigers (1:05 p.m., YES). There is a 70 percent chance of rain all day in the Bronx today and a 60 percent chance of rain and snow on Friday. Yep, great idea to start the baseball season in New York this early in the year.
