Good morning, New York sports fans! Here is your first look at the New York-area sports scene for this Thursday morning.

- No, you weren't really plugged into a time machine last night, waking up this morning having gone back in time a few weeks. The New York Knicks and New Jersey Nets are once again slugging it out to acquire the services of Denver Nuggets' All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony. In reality, we never left this place. The Nets may have walked away from the table a few weeks ago, but it seems they have always been a player in the 'Melo-Drama.' ↵
- Another thing about the Melo-less Nets has not changed. They stink. New Jersey hung with the Boston Celtics for most of their game Wednesday night, but when Boston got serious late the Nets had no chance, falling, 94-80. ↵
- The Knicks, on the other hand, went into the All-Star break on an up note, defeating the Atlanta Hawks, 102-90. ↵
- Jorge Posada's role with the New York Yankees has changed, and his future is uncertain. ↵
- The New York Mets owners have no interest in selling the team to Donald Trump. ↵
