They also still have not been able to pull the trigger on a deal for Anthony, who is now raising the possibility of staying in Denver. ↵
- Rutgers used a last-second 4-point play from Jonathan Mitchell to complete a comeback from a 13-point deficit and stun No. 9 Villanova Wednesday night. This has to be the biggest victory of the season for the Scarlet Knights. ↵
- In another Big East meeting, this one between heavyweights Syracuse and Georgetown, the Orange could not hold off the Hoyas, falling 64-56. Jim Boeheim's 850th career coaching victory will have to wait. ↵
- The New Jersey Nets ended a three-game losing streak Wednesday with a 103-101 overtime victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. ↵
