The New York Knicks' schedule for the 2011-12 season will be announced Tuesday night in a televised broadcast during which each team's schedule will be revealed.
The show takes place at 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV. Schedules are expected to be released at 7:15 p.m.
The league has already announced that the Knicks will open their season on Christmas Day against the Boston Celtics (12 p.m., TNT). The meeting will be a rematch of last season's playoffs, when New York was swept in four games.
The Denver Post's Benjamin Hochman reports that New York will not visit the Denver Nuggets this season, meaning Carmelo Anthony will not play in his former home stadium as a member of the Knicks until 2012-13. Anthony is thought to have forced a trade from Denver, ending his time with the Nuggets and resulting in a contract extension with New York.
