Good morning, New York sports fans! Sunday certainly provided a mixed bag on the local sports scene, so let's take a look.

- The Giants won a game, but lost a playoff berth. Coach Tom Coughlin got to keep his job, whether fans like it or not. I happen to like it. The Giants did win 10 games, and the season boiled down to one 8-minute meltdown that really was not Coughlin's fault. Is perfect? No. Do some changes need to be made with the Giants? Yes. I am, however, glad Coughlin gets to stay. ↵
- The New York Jets rolled over the Buffalo Bills, 38-7, easing into the playoffs. ↵
- The New York Knicks opened 2011 with a victory over the Indiana Pacers. ↵
- The New York Rangers lost to the Florida Panthers. ↵
- The New Jersey Nets? Who cares about the on-court stuff? Kim Kardashian has gone to meet Kris Humphries' mom. Now that's the good stuff! See, the Nets actually are interesting after all! ↵
