Good morning, New York sports fans! Let's get your Saturday started with a morning look around the local sports scene.

- The New Jersey Nets appear more certain than ever that Carmelo Anthony will soon be playing for them. That's the good news. The bad news for the Nets is that they got pounded on the court again Friday night, losing to the Los Angeles Lakers. ↵
- The New York Knicks returned from their West Coast trip Friday, and apparently left their game somewhere on the West Coast. The lethargic Knicks lost to the lowly Sacramento Kings, 93-83. ↵
- The New Jersey Devils defeated Tampa Bay, 5-2, Friday. The Devils have now won back-to-back games for the first time since Nov. 22-24. ↵
- Over at Big Blue View, New York Giants fans have voted defensive end Justin Tuck as their Player Of The Year. ↵
- Willie Harris is a New York Met, and Howard Megdal is thankful the team doesn't have to play against him for a change. ↵
- Apparently, Hank and Hal Steinbrenner overruled GM Brian Cashman on the signing of Rafael Soriano. Nice to see the Steonbrenners boys can still act like their old man once in a while. ↵
