New Orleans, LA – Amare Stoudemire scored 34 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the New York Knicks to, a 100-92 win over the New Orleans Hornets, the Knicks eighth victory in nine games.
“The guys are getting a little swagger,” said Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni.
Raymond Felton registered 17 points and 13 assists for the Knicks, who have won six straight on the road for the first time since the 1994-95 season. Wilson Chandler added 14 points and nine rebounds, while Danilo Gallinari and Shawne Williams both scored 13 in the win.
Trevor Ariza scored 21 points to lead the Hornets, who have lost five of seven. Chris Paul had 17 points and 10 assists, while Emeka Okafor provided 11 points and 14 rebounds in defeat.
The Bobcats played without leading scorer David West.
