- Rejoice, New York Knicks fans. Your team isn't a loser, at least not this morning. The Knicks snapped their six-game losing streak with a 113-106 victory over Sacramento on Wednesday night. Of course, it isn't that great of an accomplishment since the Kings now have a six-game losing streak of their own. ↵
- The New Jersey Nets lost to the Utah Jazz, 98-88. Victorious Utah coach Jerry Sloan had some nice things to say about the Nets. ↵
- For the hapless New York Islanders it was a case of new coach, same old result. The Isles dropped their 11th straight game as Tampa Bay ruined John Capuano's debut with a 4-2 victory. ↵
- The New York Rangers had a three-game win streak snapped in a 3-2 loss to the Boston Bruins. ↵
- Could today be the day the New York Mets get a new manager? Maybe, maybe not. We know, though, that it is the day general manager Sandy Alderson will conclude interviews for the job. So, soon, Mets fans. Very soon. ↵
