- The New York Yankees know who their manager will be. That is because Joe Girardi has reportedly agreed to a three-year deal to stay in the Bronx. Truth is, there really weren't any other options for Girardi or the Yankees in this situation. ↵
- You have to feel for Giants' defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka after he was placed on IR Thursday with a herniated disc in his neck. Kiwanuka is a standup guy and he appeared to be on the verge of stardom this season with four sacks in three games. I am crossing my fingers and hoping he comes back healthy next season. ↵
