The Pro Football Hall of Fame will induct the Class of 2012 on Saturday in Canton, Ohio (TV: NFL Network, 7 p.m.)
The Class of 2012 includes: Jack Butler, Dermontti Dawson, Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy, Curtis Martin and Willie Roaf. Following the Induction Ceremony, the Hall of Fame Game between the Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints will be played at 8 p.m. Sunday at Fawcett Stadium.
Martin played for the New England Patriots from 1995-1997 and for the New York Jets from 1998-2005. With 14,101 rushing yards in 11 seasons, he is the fourth leading rusher in NFL history behind Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders and Walter Peyton. Martin is also the Jets' all-time leading rusher with 10,302 yards. Martin and Sanders are the only running backs in NFL history to begin a career with 10 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons.

Martin said about sharing that rushing record with Sanders, "I realize how hard that is to do. A lot of pain, perseverance and dedication went into that. It definitely wasn't because I was so talented." (via Pittsburgh Post-Gazette) In his 11-year career, Martin missed just eight games due to injury.
