Scold us if you must for putting our weekly look at the exploits of, and headlines generated by, Tim Tebow on the backburner a little bit. With the NBA Draft, NBA and NHL trade rumors, New York Yankees pitchers dropping like flies and other items it has been a busy week here at the SB Nation New York sports desk.

That, however, doesn't mean we have forgotten to check in on what is going on with our man Tim. It just means we are a little later than usual doing so. Anyway, without further adieu, let's look at the week in Tebowmania.

It seems like no week in the life of Tebow, the supposed Jets backup quarterback, is complete without some manner of flirtation from Lolo Jones. The gorgeous Olympic hurdler was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno this week, once again trying to stoke the flames of a long-distance romance with New York's most eligible bachelor.

Here is the Lolo/Leno video:

All I can say after watching that is, Tim, pick up the damn phone! Call the woman! Respond to her on Twitter! Go on the David Letterman Show and accept her invitation to church. Do something, for crying out loud!

Speaking of Tebow and his status as both an eligible bachelor and a self-professed virgin, the website AshleyMadison.com recently polled more than 13,500 married women and found that soccer star David Beckham is the only professional athlete more likely than Tebow to convince American women to cheat on their husbands. That's not nice for a religious fellow like our man Tim. The numbers? Just more than 43 percent of women polled said they would cheat with Beckham. As for Tebow, 19.6 percent of women polled said they would do the deed with Tebow.

Of course, no week is complete without someone criticizing Tebow or bringing up the Tebow-Mark Sanchez controversy. This week it was former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly. Kelly said he doesn't think the Sanchez-Tebow duo can co-exist.

"I gotta be honest: I don't know what (the New York Jets) really were thinking," Kelly said. "Mark Sanchez is a quarterback who's going to be sitting there every single game if he plays bad, and No. 1, you know Jets fans -- they're going to start booing."

Whatever they were thinking, it's OK with us. Having Tebow around makes things a lot more exciting around here.
