The New York Jets held their mandatory mini-camp this week and, though Tedi Bruschi would like Tim Tebow to disappear, that means it was all Tebow all the time.
A perfect recipe for our 'This Week In Tebowmania' segment.
The Jets held mini-camp this week, and the 'big' story was that, well, Timmy is a BIG boy. Our hero is all the way up to 249 pounds, more than the 240 he weighed in Denver last season and more than he has ever weighed in his life. ESPN even went out and asked fans for suggestions on how Tebow could pack on some extra pounds. I like the 'Five Guys' suggestion myself.
There was also the big, big, big news that Tebow took two whole reps with the first team offense during one of the mini-camp practices.
Oh, and we learned something else this week. Always make sure to post the full transcripts of Tebow press conferencese. Google loves them and lots of people like to read every breathless word from our pal Tim.
Of course, it can't all be sunshine. ESPN's Ron Jaworski had to go and bring up the fact that he doesn't think Tebow is a very good quarterback, saying that Jacksonville's crap-tastic signal-caller Blaine Gabbert is better.
Ah, Jaws, let us have our fun.
Tune in again next week for our latest segment of the 'This Week In Tebowmania.'
