Free agent linebacker Rocky McIntosh has visited the New York Jets, Aaron Wilson of Scout.com reported on Thursday.
McIntosh has also received interest from the Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins. The 29-year old was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft out of the University of Miami.
He has played each of his six seasons with the Redskins, registering a total of 471 tackles, eight sacks and three interceptions. The 6-foot-2, 242-pounder's best season came in 2010, when he notched 110 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble. He had 65 tackles last year after his starting position was taken by Perry Riley in the latter half of the season.
