2013 NFL Mock Draft: New York Jets Projected To Take Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma

We can already smell the New York media waiting to create a quarterback controversy between Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow, whenever Sanchez undergoes his first struggles in the upcoming season. SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber agrees with the general notion that Sanchez is on thin ice, and suggests that perhaps the New York Jets will add yet another quarterback to the stable.

In SB Nation's first 2013 NFL Mock Draft, Van Bibber projects Jets to take quarterback Landry Jones from Oklahoma.

Dare they pull the plug on Sanchez?

If the Jets do move on from Sanchez and decide not to give the keys to Tebow, they could do worse than Jones. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound signal caller finished his junior season with 4,463 passing yards and 29 touchdowns compared to 15 interceptions.
