Jets Draft Picks 2012: New York Lands Robert T. Griffin In 6th Round

The New York Jets drafted the other Robert Griffin in the 2012 NFL Draft, Robert T. Griffin, also of the Baylor Bears. This Griffin is a 6-foot-6, 335-pound offensive guard who lined up on the right side of the center for 12 starts (though he has played across the line throughout his college career). His hard work in the fall paid off when he earned All-Big 12 honors.

The Jets have two picks remaining, both compensatory picks in the seventh round (Nos. 242 and 244). Because they are compensatory picks, the Jets are unable to trade them. There are a total of 46 picks in the seventh and final round of the draft as a result of the extra draft choices awarded to teams.

Here are the other Jets picks thus far:

Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina
Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech
Demario Davis, LB, Arkansas St.
Josh Bush, S, Wake Forest
Terrance Ganaway, RB, Baylor
