2012 NFL Mock Draft, New York Jets: Drafttek Projects Jets' 10 Selections

With the 2012 NFL Draft arriving Thursday, Drafttek released its latest seven-round 2012 NFL Mock Draft on Tuesday.

As opposed to most mock drafts, Drafttek uses a computer model to simulate each of the draft's 253 selections. The model relies on an algorithm that measures a team's needs against the ability level of players left on the board.

For example, if the New York Jets need a pass-rusher, they would be more likely to choose one under Drafttek's projections. But if the highest-rated pass rusher left on the board isn't a smart pick at that point in the draft, Drafttek would choose from another position and a player who would provide better value.

Round seven, pick No. 232: Jordan Jefferson, 6-foot-4, 224-pound quarterback, LSU

Round seven, pick No. 242: Terrence Frederick, 5-foot-10, 187-pound cornerback, Texas A & M

Round seven, pick No. 244: Greg Childs, 6-foot-3, 219-pound wide receiver, Arkansas
