NFL Offseason Rosters Will Expand To 90 Players Beginning On Tuesday

New, 1 comment

The New York Giants, of course, are coming off of a big Super Bowl XLVI win and will head into the 2012 season as NFL champions. Both New York teams, however, will be dealing with their share of offseason shake-ups and question marks. As the Giants and the Jets buckle down and prepare for the upcoming 2012 NFL season, they'll each have a deeper talent pool to draw from.

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk reports that the league will officially be expanding the offseason roster limit from 80 to 90 players, as of 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

This means that both the Giants and the Jets will have an additional 10 players to take a long look at over the spring and summer.
