2012 NFL Mock Draft, New York Jets: Dissecting DraftTek's Seven-Round Mock

With just a week to go prior to the 2012 NFL Draft, let’s take a look at how DraftTek projects the entire seven rounds to play out for the New York Jets.

Round 1 (16th overall) — Courtney Upshaw, OLB, Alabama

DraftTek says: “Courtney Upshaw continues to provide the most bang for the buck at #16 so long as Ingram, Reiff and Coples are off the board. OT Adams and S Barron will get consideration, but we like Upshaw.”

Round 2 (47th overall) — Doug Martin, RB, Boise State

Round 3 (77th overall) — Trumaine Johnson, FS, Montana

Round 4 — No selection

Round 5 (154th overall) — Andrew Datko, OT, Florida State

Round 6 (187th overall) — Matt Daniels, SS, Duke

Round 6 (202nd overall) — Chris Owusu, WR, Stanford

Round 7 (232nd overall) — Travis Benjamin, WR, Miami (Fl.)

Round 7 (242nd overall)
— Austin Davis, QB, Southern Miss

Upshaw has been the chalk at No. 16 for a while now, and I love the Martin selection in the second round. What do you like or dislike about this mock, Jets fans?
