According to the New York Daily News, the New York Jets are interested in signing free agent linebacker from the Baltimore Ravens, Jarret Johnson.
The Daily News has learned that the Jets are interested in landing free agent outside linebacker Jarret Johnson, who played six seasons under Ryan in Baltimore. Johnson, who has spent the better part of his nine-year career in the shadows of stars like Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs and Haloti Ngata, appears to be an ideal fit for the Jets' scheme.
Johnson will be 31 at the start of the 2011-12 season, but durability has not been an issue thus far for the aging linebacker; he has played in 129 consecutive regular season games, including 89 consecutive starts.
