Jets Free Agency 2012: Laron Landry Will Visit Jets

After missing out on former Pro Bowl safety, Brandon Meriweather, who signed with the Washington Redskins, the New York Jets have their sights set on another safety. According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, Landy will be in New York for a visit this weekend:

The 27 year old Landry has played only 17 games over the previous two seasons because of injuries. The former first round pick (6th overall) graded out as a -12.6 overall and -11.0 in pass coverage on Pro Football Focus during his last full season in 2009.

Landry is also expected to make visits to three other teams.
