Jets Vs. Eagles Third Quarter Score: Jets Trail 38-13

The Philadelphia Eagles lead the New York Jets 38-13 after the third quarter at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles led 28-13 at halftime. After scoring the first 28 points of the game, they conceded 13 in a row to the Jets.

In the third quarter, the scoring went the Eagles' way again. The first score was a 1-yard touchdown run by Philadelphia's LeSean McCoy. The score ended a 5-play, 89-yard drive for the Eagles. It was a quick drive that was set up by a 73-yard catch by Eagles tight end Brent Celek.

The catch looked like a decent gain in the making when Celek caught it but he just kept running all the way down to the 1-yard line. McCoy scored on the next play. The Eagles extended the lead even further when Alex Henery added a field goal.

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was dinged up on a play during the quarter. He left the field with his right arm hanging down. He didn't miss any plays during the quarter but received treatment on his neck when he came off the field.

Sanchez threw a tipped pass interception with under five minutes remaining in the quarter that set the Eagles up at the Jets' 26-yard line. The Jets escaped the turnover without harm as the Eagles knocked themselves out of field goal range with penalties.

There's still one quarter to play, but time is running out on a potential comeback.
